Moose Black Powder #1 in Fifth Edition
The Mark Petersen bull held the Muzzlelaoder moose title for many years before Leo Potvin shot this incredible Kenora District bull. Leo and his gang were doing drives to push the moose on opening day of the 2004 season. The wind direction was perfect for their afternoon hunt and Leo was one of the standers when this bull and two other moose came within 45 yards of him and his 54 calibre smoke-pole. The bull had been seen the year previous by 3 drivers on the same hunt. Leo's bull carries a 65-2/8" greatest spread with 25 points.
